Rho (MI), Italy, February 21, 2024 – In February 2024, EV received a Gold Sustainability Rating from EcoVadis in recognition of its responsible and environmentally sustainable business operations. The gold rating, which is accorded to just 5% of companies assessed by EcoVadis, marks a step up from the already excellent level achieved in previous years.
Founded in Paris in 2008, EcoVadis is a platform that, with reference to the principles of the United Nations Global Compact, rates the sustainability and corporate social responsibility performance of companies and guides them towards sound and sustainable relations and the pooling and exchange of ideas with their supply chain.

The EcoVadis rating refers to a broad array of non-financial systems of management, including environmental impact, labour and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. EV’s first certification, which it obtained in 2018, was a Bronze sustainability rating, in 2020 it moved to Silver and now, in 2024, the company has obtained its first Gold rating.
The ratings serve as globally recognized and trusted certifications that direct companies towards abating their sustainability risk, adopting best practices and expediting positive outcomes for our planet and society.
