Responsible Care Global Charter: our commitment to Sustainability
The Eigenmann & Veronelli Group, which since 1998 has adhered to the Responsible Care® programme, promoted in Italy by Federchimica, has now made a global commitment by signing the Responsible Care Global Charter of ICCA (“International Council of Chemical Associations”), thus becoming one of the over 580 chemical companies that have signed the Global Charter.
Responsible Care is a voluntary programme to promote Sustainable Development in the Chemical Industry, according to values and behaviours focused on Safety, Health and the Environment, within the more general framework of Corporate Social Responsibility. The aim is to make a significant contribution to the sustainable development of the sector, local communities and society.
In order to promote the Responsible Care programme and ensure its consistent implementation worldwide, the ICCA has drawn up the “Responsible Care Global Charter”, which focuses on guidelines that affect the chemical industry and global society.
The signing of the Global Charter demonstrates how Sustainable Development and Corporate Social Responsibility are held in the highest regard, both in production and in distribution, by the Group, which in more than a century of history, today operates with a direct presence in Italy, Spain, Portugal, Russia and Turkey, and with sales in over 30 countries worldwide.
