Rho (MI), Italy, April 30th 2021 – Christian Veronelli is the new Chairman of the EV Group for the three-year period 2021 – 2023. Elected yesterday, 29th April 2021, during the shareholders’ meeting, to replace Ludovico Balbo di Vinadio whose mandate has expired.
Christian Veronelli, born in Milan in 1967 and a graduate in Chemistry from the University of Ferrara, joined the family Group in 2000, where he held various roles in commercial development and took on several leading positions.
“I am honoured to hold this position and to succeed Ludovico Balbo di Vinadio, whom I would like to thank for the work he has done and the magnitude of the results achieved in recent years,” said the newly appointed Chairman Veronelli. “This is a handover in the name of continuity for a company as important as EV, which in more than a century of activity has grown significantly to take on an international dimension, always projected towards the future as demonstrated by the investments that are underway. My commitment and work will be maximum and I would like to thank the entire company base for the great trust they have placed in me.”
Christian Veronelli will be supported by the Board of Directors, also elected during the Assembly, formed by Gabriele Bonomi, CEO of EV, Ludovico Balbo di Vinadio (Vice-Chairman), Corrado Bestetti (Vice-Chairman), Nathalie Veronelli (Board Member), and by the two independent and non-executive members, Guido Corbetta and Erwin Rauhe.
