AssICC Celebrates 80 Years of History, Culture and Innovation
On 1 July 2026, AssICC – the Italian Association of Chemical Trade and Distribution – celebrated its 80th Anniversary with a special event in Milan, bringing together institutions, companies and industry professionals to reflect on the Association’s legacy and discuss the future challenges facing the chemical distribution sector.
The event opened at Palazzo Giureconsulti with welcome remarks from Marco Coldani, President of AssICC, Carlo Sangalli, President of Confcommercio, and Nathalie Veronelli, Vice President of AssICC. Guests then attended an insightful conversation with renowned journalist and historian Paolo Mieli, who explored the economic, social and cultural transformations that have shaped Italy over the past eighty years.
The gathering provided an opportunity to highlight the crucial role that chemical trade and distribution have played—and continue to play—in supporting the growth, innovation and competitiveness of the country’s industrial system.
Among the most memorable moments of the celebration was the exclusive guided tour and organ concert at the Duomo of Milan, sponsored by Eigenmann & Veronelli. The experience offered participants a unique blend of culture, artistic heritage and relationship building.
The event concluded with a networking reception, fostering dialogue and exchange among members, partners and stakeholders from across the industry.
Eigenmann & Veronelli is proud to have contributed to the celebration of this important milestone, reaffirming its commitment to supporting initiatives that promote dialogue between business, culture and communities, while helping shape the future of the industry.
