Eigenmann & Veronelli has signed a new commercial partnership with Umicore Specialty Materials Brugge NV, part of the Business Line Metal Carboxylates & Organics.
EV will work on the supply of RAPs (Rubber Adhesion Promoters) for rubber to steel bonding in applications like tires, hoses and conveyor belts. The cooperation covers all small to medium-sized companies in Italy, Spain, Portugal and Turkey.
The RAPs are brought to market under the brandname ECOS and include chemistries like cobalt resinate (ECOS R 8), cobalt stearate (ECOS S 9,5), cobalt neodecanoate (ECOS D 20,5 P) and cobalt boro acylate (ECOS B 22,5 C).
This strategic partnership provides a commercial opportunity for both parties by creating a synergistic alliance for the sustainable growth of the industry, and for the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet the needs of all our customers.
