Pero (MI), Italy, 21st October 2025 – Eigenmann & Veronelli (EV), Italy’s leading and internationally oriented distributor of specialty chemicals and food ingredients, has signed a new distribution agreement with Levapan to serve the food markets in Italy, Turkey and Poland.
Under the agreement, EV will act as the exclusive distributor for Levapan’s extensive range of yeast-based functional ingredients with the Biolev brand across all three countries.
With a fully integrated portfolio, Biolev by Levapan represents more than 70 years of expertise in yeast fermentation and ingredient innovation. The brand is recognised for delivering high-quality, clean-label solutions that meet the needs of both traditional and emerging food markets. From flavour enhancement and taste modulation to organic and wellness-focused applications, Biolev supports food manufacturers in creating products that are healthier, sustainable and sensorially appealing.
The products covered by the agreement include solutions designed to improve flavour, texture, and nutritional value across a wide range of food applications, including processed meats, snacks, ready meals, plant-based alternatives, sauces, soups, seasonings, baked goods, and more. In addition, the agreement includes ingredients with a strong focus on umami, salt reduction, and clean-label performance, empowering innovation in line with today’s global consumer trends.
